Public modular homes
All public modular homes are usually divided into the following main subgroups9:
Educational modular homes for general and special education. General education is carried out in schools and gymnasiums. Primary and secondary specialized education is carried out in schools, technical schools, and colleges. Higher education is received at universities - educational institutes, universities, academies (in particular, military ones). Educational modular homes also include driving schools, flying clubs, and out-of-school institutions for schoolchildren and youth.
Medical modular homes that house medical institutions (hospitals, hospitals, maternity hospitals, clinics and others), preventive and medical rehabilitation institutions (dispensaries, rehabilitation centers, dispensaries), as well as pharmacies, blood transfusion stations.
Service modular homes include retail and small wholesale trade (universal and specialty stores), catering (canteens, cafes, restaurants, etc.), consumer services (repair shops, tailoring shops, laundries, etc.), communications for direct service to the population (post offices, telephone exchanges), stations (railway, sea, river, bus), veterinary clinics.
modular homes for cultural and leisure activities - entertainment modular homes (theatres, cinemas), circuses, museums, exhibitions, libraries, indoor sports modular homes (stadiums, ice arenas, arenas, cycling tracks, etc.). Such modular homes also include open sports arenas with stands, under which there are locker rooms for athletes, training rooms, office premises, catering facilities, etc.
Religious modular homes - temples and monasteries. In Christianity, the general name for a modular home where services and religious ceremonies are performed is a church. The church always has an altar. The church is also a chapel, a small free-standing or attached modular home with an altar. An Orthodox chapel does not have an altar and is therefore not a church. In the past, an altar was a place where ritual animal sacrifices were performed. Over time, animal sacrifice was replaced by the ritual consecration of bread and wine, which are used for the religious rite of communion with Jesus Christ. In Orthodox churches, the altar, which is always located in the eastern part of the modular home, is separated from the middle part of the church by the iconostasis. In other Christian churches, instead of an iconostasis, sculptures and paintings of the dome covering and the walls of the altar are used. Catholics call the church a church, Lutherans call it a church. The Buddhist temple is called datsan (among the Mongols - dasan), the Hindu temple is called mandir. In Judaism, there were only two temples in Jerusalem, the first of which was destroyed by the Babylonian ruler Nebuchadnezzar, and the second by the Roman emperor Titus. After the destruction of the Jerusalem temples, Jews pray in a synagogue, which is not a temple. Muslims pray in mosques, which are also not considered temples. Monasteries consist of several modular homes, some of which can be combined with each other. The monastery always has a temple where services and other religious rituals are performed.
Administrative modular homes that house legislative and executive authorities (government institutions, including ministries, city governments, courts, prosecutor's offices, police modular homes), financial institutions (banks, stock exchanges), offices of firms, industrial enterprises, public organizations and institutions10.
Other public modular homes - design bureaus, modular homes of design and research organizations, laboratories, modular homes of military units, stationary military facilities. According to Russian legislation, public modular homes also include modular homes for temporary residence. A list of these modular homes is given in the section on residential modular homes.
